Making intentionally minimal work in an age of maximalism is more about the performance art of it, rather than the product: a painful act of restraint, constantly questioning, doubting and fighting the urge to embellish or make extravagant. It is a statement of: Just This, Is Enough.
Over the years, this project has gone through various evolutions, an abstract period, a noir period, and perhaps even a marketable period. Not fully at a close, I return to it seasonally when in need for minimal meditation.
